Having over 8 years’ experience in the culinary field, Victoria is an expert in gastronomy, with a degree from Azafran Culinary Institute, Argentina. Victoria is passionate about French and Italian cuisine, which led her to work in 5-and 4-star hotels during her early career development phase in France. Since that Victoria experienced not only working in the industry as a Chef but also training students. She has been training the next generation for Culinary Arts in the past 2 years and has graduated 150 students in the industry. Her motto is: “Whatever you do, do it with determination. You have one life to live, do your work with passion and give your best”
With over 20 years’ experience in the Hospitality and Education field, Chandrabhanu has extensive experience in teaching, academic administration, and student services. Mr. Nair’s focus areas as a faculty member are Food and Beverage Operations Management, Food and Beverage Cost Control and Hospitality foundation programs. He believes teaching with practical assignments will motivate students and help them to master their skills in the hospitality service industry. Mr. Nair holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and a Master’s degree in Tourism Management. He believes in the saying by George Bernard Shaw: “There is no love sincerer than the love of food”.
Wonda is an expert in leadership & management and quality assurance in the back of house operations, with over 20 years' experience in operational roles across various F&B outlets and kitchens. Wonda is passionate about Culinary Arts, she is a certified Chef with an international award in the Pastry category. She has an MBA from a UK university, and she is currently studying further as a DBA candidate. Her motto is: “In the fierce competition of today, we need to create a “lean culture” in back of House Operations and train management that will be leaders and not managers in the kitchen environment.”
Asma has been in the education field for over 19 years. She has worked in various roles within the education field, with responsibilities as a school principal in Pakistan and a Head of the English Department in Dubai. Adding to her qualifications, Asma holds a Master’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Education. She is passionate about teaching and focuses to develop her student’s skills to help them become lifelong learners and achieve excellence in their learning.
As a training manager, Gillian is supporting the overall academic objectives including curriculum management, academic administration, and student life coordination. With an extensive background spent in the tourism and airline industry, Gillian is also heading HTMi’s cabin crew training, customer service, and English in hospitality modules. Bringing over 11 years of cabin crew management and aviation training experience across commercial, private and VVIP charter management, Gillian leads by example as versatile hospitality professional.
Ankita is a Ph.D. research scholar in Management and a double master holder. She has a Master of Education (M.Ed) from Murdoch University, Australia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. She has 10 years’ experience in the tourism industry and academia. She has authored/co-authored various articles, and research papers in conference proceedings. Ankita focuses on student-centered learning techniques and delivers F&B Cost control and UAE Hospitality courses.
Larissa started her career in hotels after obtaining a Hotel & Catering Management Diploma from the Geneva Hotel School. Over 14 years of leading Sales & Marketing of several top-five- and four-star hotels have a wide background in public, press relations, and events management. She is Fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Italian, she has the ability to switch and train in all four of these languages. The training methodology she employs involves modern delivery incorporating six senses, business games, group interaction, filmed role-plays and fun learning. She has taught at the Geneva Hotel School and Swissam; Swiss American Business Management Academy in St. Petersburg.
Paul began his professional career in Hospitality in Switzerland; gaining experience in 4- and 5-star establishments in and around Switzerland and the UK. Over the past 20 years, he has taught international students in Hospitality Management and successfully became the Head of Information Technology, Director of Operations and Head of Academic Sector Hospitality at HIM Montreux and at EHL in Lausanne. Paul has a Masters's degree in Education from Murdoch University and is currently overseeing the school SIS/LMS as well as teaching the ICT course at HTMi Switzerland Dubai.
Assistant Operations Manager
Nikolai is an alumnus of HTMi Switzerland with over 4 years’ work experience in the hospitality industry across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As an operations manager, Nikolai is supporting overall Institutional needs for both academic and business departments. He has an outstanding commitment to the HTMi brand and able to relate to the student learning experience as he completed his Bachelor's degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management from HTMi Switzerland.
Marketing and Admission Manager
Sruthi is in charge of marketing and student enrollment in HTMi. She comes from the tourism & aviation industry and has worked with award- winner airlines, event management companies, and corporate business during her 9 years’ experience in UAE. As an ex-cabin crew, Sruthi has excellent communication and customer service skills that makes her easily approachable for existing and prospective students. Sruthi holds a Degree in Commerce and a Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism. Sruthi is in charge of marketing and student enrollment in HTMi and her philosophy is: “Dreams don’t work unless you do” She encourages all HTMi students to maximize their potential during their study journey to build a solid foundation for a successful career.
Social Media Ambassador
After successfully completing a summer internship program with HTMi, Miriam joined the team as a social media ambassador taking care of HTMi’s online platforms. Besides content creation, Miriam also supports in-house and external student events with photo and video coverage. She is a versatile and enthusiastic individual, graduated with a major in Journalism and Screen Production with a degree in Communication from Murdoch University.
Lisa is the IT Coordinator of HTMi supporting the academic and business needs across all platforms. Her passion for Information Technology started at a young age. She enjoys making technology a friendly domain for everyone. She is always available to support student’s IT needs and assist with their technological requirements to access LMS and on Campus devices. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Computer Application.
